Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-09-20; in force since 2026-09-17. This policy applies to the FreePeptideCalc website and Peptide Calculator App (together, the “Services”). They are operated by Kashif Khan, an individual in Pakistan, who is the data controller for the purposes of the GDPR and equivalent laws. Privacy questions and requests go to iamkashifcs@gmail.com.
What you enter into the calculators
Nothing you type into a calculator is sent to us. Every calculation runs in your own browser or in the mobile app on your device. Calculator entries, peptide or component names, dose amounts, and results are deliberately excluded from mobile analytics. The app can save up to 50 recent calculations in operating-system-protected secure storage on your device so you can reopen your history. They are not synced to an account or sent to us, and you can delete individual entries or clear the entire history from the app.
When you use “copy link”, your inputs are encoded into the URL so the page can be reproduced. That link is created in your browser. If you then share it, whoever you send it to can see those values — which is the point of the feature, but worth knowing before you post one publicly.
Some calculators remember your last inputs in your browser’s own storage so the page is not blank when you come back. That stays on your device and is never transmitted. Clearing site data in your browser removes it.
Website analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views and see which pages are useful. It sets cookies and passes a truncated IP address, your approximate location, your device and browser, and the pages you open to Google, who processes that data on our behalf and in its own capacity under Google’s privacy policy. Google is based in the United States, so this involves a transfer outside the EEA and the UK.
None of it loads unless you agree. The first time you arrive, a prompt asks. If you decline, or simply ignore it, no analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookie is set — the tag is not on the page at all, rather than present and suppressed. The legal basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page, which clears the choice and asks again.
Your answer is stored in your browser’s local storage under fpc-analytics-consent. That is the only thing this site stores about you on its own account, and it is stored on your device, not ours.
Mobile app analytics
A production build of Peptide Calculator App may use Aptabase for product analytics when an Aptabase app key is configured. It sends only high-level events such as opening the app, selecting a calculator, completing a calculation, or requesting the native store review prompt. Event properties identify the calculator mode, not what was entered or calculated. Aptabase also receives technical context needed for aggregate reporting, including the app version, operating system and version, locale, debug status, SDK version, and the IP address used to deliver the event.
Aptabase does not receive a device advertising ID, hardware ID, account ID, name, email, cookies, or a persistent user identifier from the app. Aptabase says it derives a privacy-preserving identifier from the IP address and user agent using an app-specific salt that rotates every 24 hours, so activity cannot be correlated across different days or apps. It retains app analytics for up to five years. Aptabase acts as our processor; see its privacy policy. We use these events only to understand aggregate feature usage, never for advertising, profiling, or decisions about a person.
Mobile analytics is off by default. You can opt in with Share anonymous usage events from the app’s Settings screen and switch it off again at any time. The choice is saved locally on your device; switching it off stops future events. If no Aptabase app key is configured for a build, analytics remains disabled, the control is omitted, and no events are sent.
Cookies
The only cookies this site can set are Google Analytics', and only after you agree to them. There are no advertising, personalisation or tracking cookies beyond that. Your browser may still store the things described above — your last calculator inputs, and your answer to the analytics prompt — in local storage, which is not a cookie and is not sent anywhere.
Advertising
The website carries no advertising today. It is intended to be funded by it eventually, and ad networks typically set cookies or similar identifiers and collect data about your browsing to select and measure ads. Before any of that happens, this page will be updated to name the network, and its tags will be gated behind consent in the same way analytics is.
Nothing you enter into a calculator would go to an advertiser in any case. The mobile app contains no advertising SDK and does not use analytics for advertising.
Server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare, which — like any web host — processes the requests it serves, including IP addresses, in order to deliver pages and defend against attacks. That processing is necessary to run the site at all and happens whatever you choose above. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Fonts are served from Google Fonts’ CDN, which likewise sees the request for the font file.
Health information
We are aware that interest in these pages can itself be sensitive. That is a substantial part of why the calculators are client-side: there is no account to create, nothing to log in to, and no record on our side of which compound you looked up or what you entered. Please do not send health information by email either — it is not needed to answer anything this site can answer.
Children
This site is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under the age at which they can lawfully use it where they live. The Services do not knowingly collect information from a child.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and comparable laws you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Under California law you have the right to know what is collected and to opt out of any sale or sharing of it; nothing here is sold or shared, and there is no sale to opt out of.
The Services hold no account or profile. Mobile analytics cannot be tied back to a named person, so neither we nor Aptabase can isolate an individual’s anonymous events for access or deletion; switching analytics off stops future collection. Analytics data sits with Google and you can revoke consent at any time with Cookie settings; Google's own controls cover the rest. For anything else — including email you have sent to the address above — write to iamkashifcs@gmail.com and it will be actioned. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes materially — for example if mobile analytics or website advertising changes — this page will be updated to name it and the date above will change. The terms of use cover the rest of the relationship.
